April Poem a day challenge

April showers brings May flowers, but it also brings with it the Writer’s Digest Poetic Asides 3rd annual Poem-a-day challenge.  Under the direction of Robert Lee Brewers poetry prompts, writers will create a new poem each day for 30 days. Writers are encourage to post their efforts on the Poetic Aside blog comment section each day. Between May 1-5th each poet may submit up to five of their favorite poems to Mr. Brewer to be considered for the 2010 Poetic Asides Poet Laureate. Mr. Brewer will also be choosing the top 50 poems  of the month from those submitted. The winner will be announced on July 4th 2010.

There is no cost to participate just your time and imagination. Make sure your final submission is emailed by May 5th, 2010 11:59 pm EST to robert.brewer@fwmedia.com.
