My six children are the most important part of my life. Like most parents, when they are happy I am happy, when they are sad my soul weeps. I have tried to teach them everything my mother Edna and Grandmother Hattie taught me. Some times they get it, many times they don’t. It is hard to watch them stumble through this thing we call life, making mistakes they could have avoided if they would just listen. As a mother who has spent over a decade raising her brood it is difficult to see them fall but it is when they get up on their own that they learn and grow. I am in the process of cutting the apron strings, learning and growing as well, along the way.
