Anger, a poem by Lexi Flint

Day 21 poem a day challenge

Today’s challenge was to write a Senyru which is a three line poem with a 5/7/5 syllable pattern . the poem is to be about the human condition. My Senyru has three stanzas. I hope you enjoy it.

Anger engulfs you,

you know not why, wondering

if it’s you or me

that causes the pain

that burns you from the inside

red faced, ears steaming

you won’t shed a tear

crying’s a sign of weakness

you won’t give into.
