I know I have been missing in action lately, I had to take a little hiatus but I will be blogging regularly again soon. I just wanted to tell you that is is not too late to participate in the Writer’s Digest Poetic Asides poem a day challenge. It is only the 3rd of April so it is not to late to catch up. This year you will submit five of your best poems for a shot of being named the 2011 Poetic Asides Poet Laureate For more information visit the Poetic Asides blog hosted by Poet Robert Lee Brewer. http://blog.writersdigest.com/poeticasides

April is also time for all the aspiring screenwriters out there to put their artistic vision on the page. One hundred pages to be exact, during Script Frenzy which is brought to you by the same people that host Nanowrimo each year. During script frenzy you are challenged to write a 100 page script in 30 days. Entry into both writing “contest” is free. The prize is satisfaction that you are a real writer and a complete screenplay. For more information visit http://www.ScriptFrenzy.org.
